The People’s Library is a contemporary artwork with a uniquely Tasmanian library at its core. Over 150 authors bring this performance library to life through readings, discussions and live events. Join us throughout September where a groundswell of public telling awaits.
In Thinking Making Being, Irene Briant writes about everyday things, explores small bits of her immediate world and through writing, examines the making processes of her visual arts practice. This series of recent writings are part autobiography and part musings on artworks. Often these musings act as triggers for making, or the means of discovering or coming to terms with the meaning of a work.
