In The Carnival: A Medley Of Short Stories, Gladys Conry knits together a lifetime of riches. Life, like a carnival, is full of ups and downs, laughter and fear. Sometimes almost spinning out of control, time stretches and time flies by.
All stories have a beginning. But where does each start? One incidence influences the next and the next, and people react and adapt to the different circumstances. Most stories are just a chapter in this string of events. All of the people Gladys has met or heard about have touched her heart in some way, influencing how her fictional characters feel and react. In this book, no one is real, but a part of everyone is real. They are here to share their stories.
