Amanda’s professional background is in film editing – a form of narrative-spinning in itself. Apart from her family (and dogs), the most enduring love of Amanda’s life has been the reading of books. After moving to Tasmania in 2006 Amanda and her family now live on 40 glorious acres just south of Kettering. The invitation to be part of The People’s Library has offered Amanda the opportunity to test her literary skills and realise her long-held dream of writing a children’s book. The process has been delightful torture – and a whole lot of fun.

Having grown up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Angela Nolan is just completing her final year at the German International School. After finishing her IB, she plans on taking a gap year to work, draw, catch up on some reading, and travel. After that she hopes to begin a double degree in visual arts and international relations. Having always loved reading books and drawing, The People’s Library has given Angela the chance to bring the two together, in what was an immensely enjoyable experience.
